Area of application:
Suitable for connecting electric heaters, coffee makers, household and other electrical appliances, where an indication of the power on state is necessary.
Installation:
1) Unscrew the two srews which fix the bottom and the top of the housing.
2) After pulling off the top of the housing and detaching the two quick adapters the switch can be pulled out.
3) The wires have to be connected to their connection adapters like written below:
a) The ground wire –green/yellow– has to be connected to the ground adapter under the switch. The wires phase (L1) and the null (N) have to be connected to the free adapters of the switch.
b) Put the wire under the shackle and fasten shackle with the M3 srews.
c) Reconnect and replace the switch to its original position.
d) Put back the top of the housing and fix it with the two screws.
General description:
The connector part of the switch plug is made of thermoplastic material. The plug with the earthing contact is located in a housing that is shared with the switch. The lower and upper parts are fastened together by 2 sheet metal screws. After removing the sheet metal screws, the upper part of the housing can be lifted off, thus enabling the connection of the connecting wire. The strain relief is located in the lower part of the plug housing, which prevents the connected wire from slipping out. The strain relief can be operated using 2 M3 screws. A properly installed switch plug is properly sealed and protected against accidental contact. Current-carrying parts are made of a certified copper alloy that is protected against corrosion. Other metal parts are protected against corrosion.
Operating:
The wire connected to the plug (after connecting the plug to the network) can be energized by operating the rocker switch. The indicator light built into the switch provides information about its status (it lights up when switched on). Before removing the plug from the socket, the power supply can be disconnected using the switch described above.
