About us

The legal predecessor of VA Elektronika Zrt. was founded in 1953 under the name of Elektromos Tömegcikk és Játékárugyár (Electric Mass Goods- and Toys Factory).

Starting from 1961, the product range was determined by industrial pushbuttons and the 30 and 33 mm diameter signal lamp product line.

From 1975, our company belonged to the Budapest-based KONTAKTA group. As the product range expanded, rocker switches, switches for household appliances and the 16 mm diameter pushbutton family line were introduced, after purchasing the license from the German RAFI company.

From 1st January 1989, our company became independent again, initially under the name Vezérléstechnikai Alkatrészgyártó Vállalat, and then in 1992 it was transformed into a joint-stock company. By purchasing the license of the German company KLÖCKNER-MOELLER, we strengthened further our range of control circuit actuators and signaling devices.

Since the fall of 2001, our range has included several variations of switches for lawnmowers, other garden machines and DIY machines, and since the spring of 2006, we started manufacturing switches for vacuum cleaners.

Our products have been tested by European certification institutes (MEEI, VDE, Intertek Semko), and their quality meets the current requirements of the international market. This is guaranteed by our quality management system, which has been operating according to the ISO 9001 standard since 1994.

As an additional activity, we undertake injection moulding of plastic parts and production of metal parts by cutting and pressing.

VA Elektronika Zrt. is a fully Hungarian privately owned innovative enterprise, which has its own technical development capacity, tool manufacturing department and production base, thus helping to provide comprehensive, flexible and quality service to customer needs.
