FK line lawnmower and DIY machine switches

We would like to inform you that we manufacture and sell FK type switches primarily for industrial users, we only have stocks of a few types, and we only undertake the production of larger series of types that are not in stock.

Recommended area of application:

The functions of the series FK… two pole push button switches are the operation of the garden machine and apparatus, electrical machine and similar characteristic appliances.

Protection against electric shock: Suitable for class II appliances.

Fixing: The plastic covering and the operating mechanism, made by manufacturer of the appliance, keep in position the switch and ensure the protection against indirect contact of the switch.

Protection: min. IP 40 after mounting

Types:

The form and the size of the trigger: at the customer’s request.

Operation mode:

  • Without locking: The switches in normal state are OFF. After a push the state will be ON, when the push take up, the switch returns to the normal OFF state.

  • Locking against operation: This switch can be operated by the push of the lock-off button. After a push the state will be ON, when the push take up, the switch returns to the normal OFF state.

  • Locked switch: After a push the state will be ON, then by the push of the lock-off button the switch can be fixed in ON state. After pushing the trigger again, the switch returns to the normal OFF state.

  • At all three switches the acceleration of moving of the terminals and the sound effects of the switching was realized by two different mechanism:

        • by jump of a ball

        • by the flexibility of the plastic parts (at switch types FK…n).

Terminals:

The switches can be produced with the following terminals:

  • 4 pcs screwless terminals with springy clamp

  • 2 pcs screwless terminals with springy clamp + 2 pcs screw type terminals

  • 4 pcs screw type terminals.

The wires can be attached to screw type terminals on the top of the switch or from the underside of the switch.

The design of the terminals is the same at all three electrical rating (FK 3…, FK 6…, FK 8…).

To the screwless terminals are connecting flexible wires ending in a core extremity tube. The connections can be achieved by introducing the wires in a min. 8 mm deep opening on the flank of the switch. After connecting the springy joining will be self-closing. Joint release is possible with the clamping spring elevating with tool (e.g. max. 3 mm bladebroader screwdriver) throught the orifices of the lower cover plate of the switch (but at first the relief, which covers the holes, must be broken through). The connecting clamps are suitable for 2-2 wires connecting clamps or the screw type terminal for 1-1 flexible copper wires connecting up.

Swicthes connecting generation are made before setting-up in the apparatus, joint release after dismounting.

FK 3… 0,5 – 0,75 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire,

FK 6… 0,5 – 1,0 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire,

FK 8… 0,7 – 1,5 mm2 insulated, flexible copper wire,

  • In case of connection to screwless terminals: flexible wire ending in a core extremity tube.

  • In case of connection to screw type terminals: the wire is suitable without preparation.
